Adding a UDDI Registry

This topic describes the procedure to add a UDDI registry.

Before you begin this task:
Create a Project.


UDDI manages the discovery of Web services by relying on a distributed registry of businesses and their service descriptions implemented in a common XML format. A UDDI registry is a collection of directories that contain information about businesses and services. You can add a UDDI registry to Cordys system.

  1. Select a starting point and click (External Registry) to add an external registry. The Untitled External Registry - External Registry window appears.
  2. Enter the details. For more information on the fields and their descriptions, refer to Add New Registry Details Interface (at Design Time).
  3. Click to validate the connectivity details and click . A registry is created and displayed in the Workspace Documents window .
